GrowthKey for Facilitators: Engaging Participants with Interactive Events | Vancouver, Canada

  • The Post at 750 110-750 Hamilton Street Vancouver, BC, V6B 2R5 Canada (map)

~When your event is interactive, it is way more productive! ~

Content: We will explore tested approaches on how to make day-long or multiple-day events (offsites, retreats, workshops) both productive and fun. Specifically, we will focus on how to make events interactive to ensure participants are fully engaged and maintain their cognitive and collaborative energy throughout long group events.

Format: This will not be a “workshop", but a “playshop”! We will solve serious challenges facilitators face with playful solutions.

Outcomes: Facilitators will walk away with at least a dozen “ready to use” activities or modifications to existing practices to make events more interactive.  Side effects will include peer learning, sparking connections, and fun.

Morning: For greater flexibility and choice, Aneta will offer two complimentary programs — you can chose to attend either, or both.  This program will be offered in the morning and will include interactive activities as well as Aneta’s big picture framing on how to engage participants.  (Sign up for the afternoon program here)

Backstory: Aneta Key's session "Engaging Participants with Interactive Events" was extremely well received by professional facilitators from around the world at the recent conference of the International Forum for Visual Practicioners and inspired an invitation for Aneta to offer facilitation workshops in Vancouver.

Timing: This event is part of the International Facilitation Week promoting the power of facilitation worldwide
